Currently I have two ongoing series exploring my favorite motifs: Water and Skies. I’m obsessed with the idea of exploring water through painting and being immersed in the mystery of water, and describing the layers of water. From the barely there rocks at the bottom, the suspended organic matter in the water to the reflections on the surface. Skies are ever-changing and this movement is both visible and felt. I started painting skies during a period of grief as a way to cope, and I haven’t stopped.
